Abstract

For any critical work on the global jihadist movement, it is essential that its reasoning be clear. Expressive to the nature of the argument and its examining the fortes or faintness has been the trend of contemporary western and Muslims’ writings since last two decades. The problem of this discourse is to understand the reasoning system of contemporary global jihad which believes in armed conflict. The instantaneous understanding of this global jihadist reasoning system is the dire need of time that the world can assess the depth and breadth of its impact by scrutinising this narrative and its grounds to counter this thought. This research endeavour, would assist to global policy makers to understand that the religious and theological foundations of global jihadist do not have a scientific depth and its reasoning is weak in the tradition of religious sciences. It also been the objective of study to find out the causes of effectiveness of Jihadist political reasoning among those Muslims those have radical mind-set. This research paper is effort to give an impartial analysis of selected significant literature that has come up so far and this will make it thought provoking for the scholarly world to understand the nature of reasoning-system.
