Analytical Study of Al-Tozih li Shar’h il Jame e Sahih by Imam Ibn ul Mulaqqin.

Abstract

Imam ibn ul mullaqin is a renowned scholar of eighteenth century /AH .Who is an authentic reference in the field of Hadith and History of Hadith. Most of his books are accepted by people and scholars in the field of Hadith studies. Leaving the rest of his work only the honor which Al-tozih gained is enough for him. It is an encyclopedia of knowledge related to Hadith like commands of jurisprudence, benefits and Uloom-ul-Hadith. He encompassed all the topics of principles of Hadith and Uloom-ul-Hadith in Al-tozih. The prominent features of Al-tozih are: to use the past primary and secondary sources and all the past commentaries of Hadith Books, a critical discussions on men and their chains of Bukhari, the comparison of different editions of Bukhari, to complete the chain of Mu’allaq and Mouqoof Hadith, to give preference to different sayings and mention the sayings of four Imams, to give satisfied answers to the objections about the chains of Bukhari, lexical research of derived solutions of problems. All the above characteristics distinguish Al-tozih from other commentaries of Hadith Books.
