The Trading of the Files for Installment-based Plots; An Islamic Legal Assessment

Abstract

Immovable property includes plots, houses and shops as well as agricultural land. In every age, people need to buy and sell immovable items for their needs. Some people sell the immovable property without possession in order to make a profit as soon as possible. Often this results in people being defrauded. No research article or thesis at MPhil and Ph. D level has been noticed regarding the sale and purchase of plot files. However, it has been issued many fatwas from Dar Al-Ifta of different schools of though. Majlis-e-Shari established by Jamia Ashrafiya Mubarakpur, India has investigated on it. It has been printed in their book Majlis-e-Sharia and monthly Ashrafiya.
