Semantic Aspects of Animal Allegories in the Holy Qur'an. A Study of Selected Urdu Commentary Literature
Abstract
Allah Almighty has said with human nature that if any of his words are explained by example, then he should understand it in the best way. And for the training of human children, examples of animals are given, so that they can better understand what is good and what is bad. As parents are educators, God loves us more than they love us. This method of giving examples is also the style of Quran, which can easily be understood by this article. This topic is very unique and different in its theme. We will try to implement traditional methodology of Islamic studies in this article. And also try to use primary, secondary and modern resources. In this article we will discuss two different types of examples discussed in Quran. i.e., with specification and without specification. The animal is mentioned in different stories and occasions but the parable of the three animals is mentioned in the following.
