Abstract

Ibne Khaldoon is hailed as one of the greatest writer, researcher
and thinker in the dicipline of serah writing. although he is also known
and popular for his valuable work in the arena of history, Sociology,
Politics and economics. However, ibn-e-Khalddon, in his reknown books "
kitab ul Ibr" and " Muqaddama, has researched life of Prophet of Islam
(PBUH) nin sysematic and lucid manner. This research paper aimed to
explore the contributions of Ibn-e-Khaldoon as serah writer. This
research paper may be termed as distinctive and unique by virtue of his
word and nature. prior to this research, these areas have not been so
far explored. Moreover, it also throws light on early life of
Ibn-e-Khalddon, scholarly activities and principle features and
contributions with perspective of serah writing have been highlighted
in particular. Lastly, primary sources have been used in order to
investigate the topic.
