Psychological Problems and its Effects on New Generation
Abstract
Psychological problems, such an anxiety, stress and depression. The new generation born in an era of rapid technological advancements, unprecedented societal pressures and social media saturation. Due to this they are facing an unprecedented mental health crises. This exploratory study delves into the alarming sign of psychological problems among the new generation, including depuration, anxiety and substance abuse. The new generation is struggling to cope with mounting expectations and fear of failure. Moreover the mental health issues and lack of access to adequate support systems have exacerbated the problems. By understanding the causes of psychological problems we can empower the new generation to thrive in an increasingly complex and demanding world. We explore the guidance offered by the Holy Quran and Hadith to address their mental health concerns. The principals of Trust in Allah, gratitude and patience are effective for stress and anxiety. In the light of Holy Quran and Hadith the new generation can navigate life’s challenges with resilience, faith and hope.
