Styles of the Muslim-Christian Relation in the Time of the Holy Prophet: Critical Study Recommendations of the Islamic Ideological Council Regarding Matrimonial Life

Abstract

The solution of many of the contemporary issues pertaining to religion, sociology, geography, ethnicity and language is directly proportional to the harmonic relationship between Christians and Muslims. These two religions should realize that their role in the world peace is far more than the rest ones. The followers of these two religions need to unify at the myths and doctrines that are shared in both. Both have almost the same myths and the code of ethics. Their interfaith harmony also needs a strong look at the socio-cultural backgrounds which both share. In other words, there is need of a deep and serious analysis of the history of Muslim-Christian relations. Particularly, there is required to decipher the dynamics of the relations between the two in the time of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). He himself tried his best to create a congenial atmosphere for the productive growth of relationships with the Christians.  In that era there were exchanged ambassadors, letters, invitations and delegations. The present research article tries to explore the series of efforts that were made to bring reconciliation between the Muslims and the Christians on the part of Muslims
