Mysteries and Rulings on Adjectives in the Qur'anic Style: Analytical Study

Abstract

There has been a lot of literature written on the various aspects of Quranic styles in different languages of the world. The Holy Prophet Muhammad had received a book that would deal with matters of belief, law, politics, spirituality and economics in a complete literary form. This unique literary form is part of the miraculous nature of the Quran. Quran lies perfect unequalled, lyrical and phonetically distinctions in its literary style. The Quran achieved this unique literary form by fusing together various literary styles. It exhibits an unparalleled frequency of rhetorical features surpassing any other Arabic text classical and modern some of its characteristics are saja, iltifat, nazm, tashabuh, majaz and tazada (Mughayarah). The aim of this thesis is to study basic aspects of tazad or antithesis has been propounded by scholars, commentators. This thesis also presents the examples regarding the objectives and multiple purposes of the said style as the literary miracles of the Holy Quran.
