Rules of Preference in the Opinion of Mufassireen and its Conditions (An Analytical Study)

Abstract

This study examines the rules of preference in the opinion of Mufassireen while interpreting the Holy Quran and its conditions explained by them. Due to different opinion of Mufassireen, it is not easy for a lay man to prefer the opinion from their opinions and understand a concluding opinion. Therefore, the Mufassireen have developed rules and conditions of preference in order to provide the right opinion of the verses of the Holy Quran. The current study mentions these rules and conditions and their examples in detail. This study will be helpful in providing correct understanding of the verses of the Holy Quran.
