Madrasah Education System: Problems under Consideration and Course of Action A Review of the Viewpoint of Dr. Mahmoud Ahmad Ghazi

Abstract

                    The educational system of religious alma maters has remarkable impacts on the religious values and ethics of Pakistani society. Their opinion is of considerable value in the worshipping and family matters of everyday life. But, on account of the demand of society and of the time, a lot of questions are raised on the conduct of these scholars. One of the most likable subjects of Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi (d2010) is the education system of religious institutions i.e.Madaris and their renaissance. He remained in touch to the research and educational departments after being qualified from both systems of education schools. In this way he was very much aware of the worldly affairs as well as the educational systems of madaaris. He gave more importance to interior aspects of the system than to make the foreign aspects of the system of education. And this too is the need of the hour that own mistakes must be avoided.Dr. Ghazi remained in strife to introduce a comprehensive and balanced system of religious and ethical system in outer world especially in Pakistan. He used to present significant analyses and suggestion on the Madrasa system of education in his lectures. In this article his point of view on Madrasa education has been highlighted and evaluated.
