Revelationay Nature of Torah---- A Critical and Analytical Study of the Jews and Muslim Scholars

Abstract

Regarding the Torah, Muslim scholars (with a few exceptions) have generally taken the position that it was revealed to the Prophet Moses at all times. It has also been assumed that, this incident happened on the mountain, when Allah spoke to you after the defeat of Pharaoh and you stayed there for forty days, then you were given the entire Torah written on it. That is why Muslim scholars have been paying attention to how the references to the Torah have been distorted and how they have been distorted. But generally they are silent on the problem of editing it. The question arises that despite assuming the Qur'an that it was revealed periodically in different pieces, Why have the Muslim scholars assumed that the revelation of the Torah was a blow?
