Criticism of Allama Ghulam Rasool Saeedi on Imam Razi: A Special study of Tafseer Tibyan ul Quran

Abstract

The science of Hadith is basically founded on rational guidelines, with a methodology based on an accumulation of experience attained by the Hadith scholars. These experiences were on the basis of narrating reports and checking their authenticity and soundness. For this purpose, scholars contributed a lot to check the reliability, validity, purity and authenticity of the Narrators of Hadith. Different conditions, rules and regulations were established by the experts of Hadith. The name of Imam Ali Bin Al-Madeeni is distinguish and has trustworthy status in this field. In this research article, efforts are made to explore the expertise of Al-Madeeni and to study the Methodology of Criticism adopted by him. The main objectives of this paper were to identify and analyze the Criticism criteria regarding Majhool (unknown) Narrators set by Imam Ali Bin Al-Madeeni because of his extraordinary rules and reservations for Hadith’s Narrators. It was also founded that there was a specialty in Al-Madeeni’s opinion to remove the title of ‘Jahalah’ from a Narrator as compare to other scholars of this field
