Disapproval of the differences between the hadiths A definitive(special) study of Tamilah Fateh Mullam

Abstract

 Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani (b. 1943 CE) a present-day renowned leading Muslim scholar whose research contribution includes a vast variety of different braches of sciences such as Tafsir, Hadith, Qur'anic Sciences, Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Banking and Economics and sufism. His magnum opus in the field of Hadith is known as "Takmalah Fath al-Mulhim" which is the completion of "Fath al-Mulhim" authored by Shykh al-Islam Shabbir Ahmad Usmani. In this Takmila, Mufti Taqi Usmani during the eighteen years of its editing, has prolifically described various academic debates while resolving the issues of divergences between the narrations. As he is an expert and consultant in classical and modern jurisprudential debates and has an authority in Fatwa, his astute and judicious instinct plays a pivotal role in settling the meanings of variant Ahadith In this article, an endeavor has been exercised to make special focus on the methodology adopted by Mufti Usmani in term of determining the coherence among the different narrations.
