THE IMPACT OF ISLAMIC IDEOLOGY, POLITICAL DOMINANCE AND GLOBAL MINDSET ON THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF PAKISTAN: MODERATING ROLE OF LEADERSHIP

Abstract

The education system has been considered as an essential element of global development and has gained the attention of the researchers nowadays. Thus, the purpose of the current study is to examine the role of Islamic ideology, political dominance and global mindset on the education system of Pakistan. The goal also includes the examination of the moderating role of leadership among the links of Islamic ideology, political dominance, global mindset and education system. The data has been obtained by using the questionnaires from the educational institutions of Pakistan and analysis has been made by using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that Islamic ideology and global mind-set have a positive association with the education system while political dominance has negatively linked with the education system. The output also shows that leadership has positively moderated among the nexus of global mind-set and education system. These findings provide the guidelines to the regulation formulating authorities that they should develop the effective policies related to the education system that enhance the national development.
