Modern Ideas of Women Empowerment and Islam

Abstract

Women Empowerment is the process of giving power to women and strengthen them. It gives chances to women to control their lives and claw their rights. It is not an end but a process of power shift. Women Empowerment is outcome of different feminist movements that started in Europe. The process of globalization effects of  Women Empowerment transmitted to Muslim world also. The power of media cannot be denied  ( its effects) which are crystal clear in Muslim countries. In the West, women are tool for the promotion of business. Muslim societies follow the western culture and its negative effects are seen everywhere. Islam has given political, economic, social, educational rights, opportunities and chances to women. There is no such concept of man dominated society .Women are equal in all aspects only duties are different. This point is finding of my research.
