Abstract

In the modern age, Ambassadors and Diplomats play vital role to support and fortify the foreign policy of their countries. Concept of operational and working embassies in different countries, whether friends or enemies, is new but in ancient and primitive eras the concept of sending envoys, emissaries and delegates was common and widespread. Ambassadors were sent for different purposes like to combating nations for some treaty, to ally rulers for military or economic help or for intimidating and terrifying. Before emergence of Islam, in Arabs, despite there was no good governance and united empire, there was system of Ambassadors. The articles provides very basic information regarding aforementioned issue. The literal and technical meanings of Safarh has been mentioned. In primitive epoch what were forms and aims of ambassadors has been discussed.
