Analysis of the War News Writing in the reign of Ottoman Caliphate

Abstract

Ottoman Empire is considered a splendid period for its academic ideology in history of Islam. A bulk of its history has been written in the life of rulers. It is noticeable that, mostly, the work has been done on history, not other branches of knowledge. The rulers recruited the historians, to make the writing a masterpiece of knowledge and information for the coming generations. They adopted different methodologies; they got their experiences and events from their activities of daily life recorded. The aim of writing this article is to show the red picture of Ottoman Empire. The interest of the empire in history has been observed in this article. The finding reveals that the historians did not portray objective and real picture of the history. They delineated their historical interests and writings as could be just propaganda because the word of Ottoman Empire in their era is the mouthpiece of the matchless methodologies in writing the history.
