Abstract

This paper  deals with the issue  of  revelation and  prophethood  from the  Quranic exegesis of shaykh al- sha̔rawi.  it is an oral exegeses and published in his life .it is highly popular among the scholars of Quran sciences. In this exegesis, the author discussed the highly sensitive issue of belief regarding the revelation and prophet hood  in a very unique style .as the skeptics arised suspicions and douts regarding the revelation and prophethood. The author proved his point of view with the authentic traditions and the acts of the Holy prophet and his linguistic and rational expertise. His approach and methodology is totally different from the philosophers and traditional theologians.in this paper , I will discuss the methodology and approach of the author  .  This study will consist of the following items.
