پاکستانی خواتین میں مطالعہ قرآن کی عصری صورت حال – ایک جائزہ

Abstract

Muslims have been given code of conduct in the form of Holy Quran and Allah  has commanded them to read and understand this book keenly and constantily. We as a Muslim should read Qur’an and try to know its meaning so we can implement it in our lives. Qur’an provides a complete guideline for living a successful life here and in the hereafter. In contemporary times, Muslims do not give proper attention in the field of understanding of Qur’an, they just recite the Holy Qur’an, in proper or in proper manner, especially in the Holy month of Ramdhan. A great number of women can not recite Qur’an correctly, without understanding of meaning. They use to recite it at the death of Muslims, with out knowing the commands of Al-mighty Allah, that is why people spend their lives according their own wishes, although they are supposed to spend it according  to Islamic Shari’ah. This paper analyses the attitude of Pakistani Muslim women about the reading and understanding of Holy Qur’an.
