Abstract

"Assumption" is a trustful source for the distinction between useful and abuse. The word "assumption" has been used in the meanings of 'knowledge', 'faith' and 'doubt' of which the meaning 'doubt' has been prevalent. If authentic assumption is not taken as a source of recognizing the useful and abuse then it will not be possible to know and have an access to know the useful and abuse. It is because so many probabilities are relinquished to create certainty and intrinsic situation: like to trust on assumption in the matter like the cleanliness of immaculate and filthy utensils and clothes, determining the direction of Qibla  and forgetting the number of  Rakaat in prayer. If authentic assumption is not given importance in such deeds and matters then there will be no heartedness and completeness in any prayer. Whereas the inclusion of authentic assumption not only causes the completeness of prayers and matters rather it is a cause to achieve piety as well. And if authentic assumption is considered unimportant then it will not possible to achieve the purpose of 'sharia'. Where Imam Izzaudddin Bin Abdussalam (R.A) has termed Quran and Sunnah, Ijmaa, Qias e Mutabar, Istidlal e Sahee, Aqal, Istiqra, Tajaarib o Adaat as source for the insight of  purposes of Sharia there he (R.A) has also termed authentic assumptions as its essential part. In the article the importance of the opinion of Izzaudddin Bin Abdussalam (R.A) in "The role of authentic assumption for the insight of sharia purposes" has been highlighted.
