جرح وتعدیل میں ابن حبان کا مقام

Abstract

It    has  been   a     great  blessing  for Muslims that  their religious assets and estates whether that is Quran or Hadith ,  have well  been  saved   and  preserved   from  any  elimination , change or    alteration. Allah Almighty Himself has  taken  the responsibly  of  the  preservation of Quran while Hadith  are  preserved  through a  criticism,  So as if any interpreter , translator or  sender was   mistaken or if anybody lied or associated lies with the Holy Prophet,(peace be upon him) then Ulema-e-den with their best  efforts has unfolded, declared and disclosed that lie, falsity and assertion. If any of the interpreters and narrators was   intellectually and mentally strong enough, or if sometimes they made mistakes, both aspects of their   life along with the rendered and interpreted     Hadith were   properly highlighted. Such type of remarkable achievements has   never been made by any of the Western authors and intellectuals. One of such great name is Ibne Haban.  This   paper will    describe the short    Biography    of Ibni  Haban   along  with the Hadith  books   he   has  compiled. This paper  will also illuminate or throw light on the procedure that he has used for the compilation of Hadith. Last but not the least; the paper would analyze the conclusion in a critical manner.
