Abstract

One significant purpose of the critical analyses of the Orientalists
is to mock and deny the Islamic thoughts and ideology. Such group of
critics objects to the basic principles and thoughts of Islam
manifested in the Holy Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah and mysticism.
Reynold Alleyne Nicholson is an important critic among the Orientalists
who have biased opinion against Islam and the Muslims. He is presented
as a balanced and as an impartial analytical figure. But when we read
between the lines of his writings, we find him a prejudiced and biased
enemy of Islam. This article is meant to expose his partiality on the
basis of true facts. An impartial critical study about the undeniable
thoughts and principles of Islam has been presented for the readers
belonging to any race or religion so that they may make a real, just,
unbiased and unprejudiced opinion about Islam
