Abstract

Interfaith dialogue has gained special attention now a days. Its synonym is “Hawar” in Arabic language. Its meaning is to exchange arguments through healthy debating. This word has been used in same context in the “Holy Quran” at several occasions In fact “Religion” is the oxygen for mankind so in order to quest for true religion, the significance of “debate” cannot be neglected. Today, even amongst the followers of the same religion divergence and disagreement prevail. In this situation, debate among religions should be held at international level in order to save the world from horrible collision. The duty lies on the scholars of meditators, so that the false ideologies be uprooted. The Last Holy Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (S.A.S) preached for the faith, with all His knowledge power, for the betterment and peace of the world and founded the debate among religions. The teaching of Last Prophet(S.A.S)are milestone. That is how He(S.A.S)delivered the true message of religion Islam to all the thinking mankind successfully.
