ڈاکٹر محمود احمد غازی کی قانون سازی میں خدمات کا جائزہ

Abstract

Dr. Mehmud Ahmed Ghazi is a well known contemporary religious
scholar. He is considered a multi-dimensional personality. As a teacher,
writer, analyst, administrator and jurist he did well in every walk of
life with devotion and patience. He desired to renaissance the Muslim
Ummah as dreamed by Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindi, Shah Wali Allah and
Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Dr. Ghazi working at many administrative and
influential posts did his best to modify colonial constituted
constitution today operative at Pakistan. Islamic/ ideological council of
Pakistan is a forum where Dr. Ghazi remained its member for eight
years. He visualized the law making authorities and law enforcing
agencies to make closer to Islam. He peeped into the burning issues
and provided their solutions according to Quran and Sunnah. He
touched common man's problems analyzed them and searched its
answers in the light of Islamic laws, practiced during Holy Prophet's
days and rightly guided Khulafa (R.A). This paper is going to elaborate
his efforts to make present law an Islamic law.
