Abstract

In the contemporary globalized world, religious intolerance and extremism threaten social harmony and global peace, particularly through the dual impact of digital and social media. Universities, therefore, must move beyond academic instruction to promote moral integrity, tolerance, and interfaith understanding. By integrating values of mutual respect and coexistence into curricula, research, and dialogue initiatives—especially within Islamic institutions—universities can transform religious diversity into a constructive social force. This study concludes that when education is combined with moral and civic training, universities become vital agents of religious harmony, national unity, and global peace.
